To help your booking process, please consider the following…

After speaking with a lot of you, we understand that this is a vacation for you as well and you probably want the freedom to choose where to stay and the flexibility to keep your budget. Therefore, we did not pick a specific hotel for everyone to stay. In the next section, you will find recommended areas we loved from our research and that are central to our events.

Important: If you are looking to book several rooms as a group in a hotel, we have seen opportunities for larger group discounts. Start by asking the hotel, but reach out if you have questions on how to do that!

We will have a shuttle service on the day of the ceremony (May 2nd) to bring people to and from the wedding venue.

Important: We will have two pickup locations. One in downtown Palma and one in Valldemossa (where the majority of people are staying). These are our two recommended areas to stay. Read the next section for their descriptions.

Children are absolutely welcome to join us on the Day 1 and Day 3 activities - even highly encouraged as they are kid friendly. Please reach out to the bride and groom if you are curious about bringing your kids for the ceremony day.

Important: We are talking about hiring nannies for the day of the ceremony through either a hotel or through a very known/official caretaker service agency. If this is of interest to you, let us know so we can work on making this comfortable for everyone.

Where Does This All Fall On The Map?

Key Locations on the Map

Number 1 : Palma de Mallorca (City) and the location of Day 1 and Day 3

Number 2: Wedding Venue

Number 3: Bride and Groom’s Villa

Number 4: Valldemossa Village

Number 5: Palma Airport (PMI)

Details on each Key Location

Number 1 : Palma de Mallorca

The main downtown city of Mallorca Island. This is also the location of the night one Welcome Drinks event (May 1st). Aka where we all meet each other for the kickoff of our three day extravaganza!

16 minute drive from Palma to the wedding venue.

Recommendation: Staying/lodging in Palma is an excellent option. It’s central to the wedding events and a beautiful way to get to know the city on your downtime. Bars, cafes, restaurants, shopping, and plenty of history and sightseeing for those that want to conquer it all. This is also a lively and walkable city, so expect late night options, bar scenes, and lots of tourists.

Number 2 : Wedding Venue

Location where we will spend the afternoon through night on Day Two, Ceremony Day (May 2nd)! Nestled in the countryside of south west Mallorca off of Ses Rotgetes de Canet and the perfect center spot to all our event locations.

5 minute drive from our villa to the wedding venue.

Recommendation: There will be shuttles that take all our guests to and from the venue. There will be two exact pickup and drop-off points identified later but in Palma and Valldemossa. If you rent a car, you can also drive and park here.

Number 3 : Bride and Groom’s Villa

Kyle and Daniela, along with their groom/bridal party will be staying together in a villa nearby the wedding venue.

5 minute drive to the wedding venue - but don’t let that fool you, it is a 41 minute walk. Most drives are way shorter than walking distance here.

Recommendation: We booked this house through a boutique rental home website. One thing we noticed is that the prices did fluctuate depending on if you booked with let’s say Booking.com versus the boutique site. So if you are think about booking a house, consider looking up the house name and seeing the multiple sites where it’s being advertised for finding the best price.

Number 4 : Valldemossa Village

If you had our take on where to stay, it’s between here and Palma. Valldemossa (Val-deh-moh-sa) One of the most iconic villages in Mallorca, full of fairy-tale streets, art galleries, and mountain views. This would be your inland option if you want to get more of a local feel to your stay. This village is steeped in history, with walkable access to gorgeous cafés, boutique hotels, shopping, and attractions.

13 minute drive to the wedding venue and a 24 minute drive to Palma.

Recommendation: This village, compared to Palma is best for our guests who want to stay somewhere picture-perfect, romantic, and iconic, with a bit more of a hidden gem and unplugged feel. There are other villages to look at as well like Esporeles, but this one stood out to us the most. Another note is that this one would require more taxis, Ubers or a car rental for day 1 and day 3 activities. However, it gets you closer to beaches and other villages for off time trips.

Number 5 : Palma de Mallorca Airport

Or “PMI, Aeroport de Palma–Son Sant Joan” airport code when you are booking your travel. This is the airport you will fly into and out of. While being an island airport, it is very well connected with plenty of options on how to get to it from connecting cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Berlin, Paris, London, Milan etc! Most of these flights are also super budget friendly. We’ve seen as little as $60 one-way.

7 minute drive to Palma

Recommendation: When you fly into PMI, you’ll have plenty of transport options (bus, taxi, shuttle or car rental). Buses are your friend! It is 5 euros to get to Palma from the airport and it takes 20 minutes (buses run through the airport every 15-ish minutes). We highly recommend you download the Citymapper app. This will be your best friend that tells you every detailed step to get to an from anywhere. Screenshot directions for when you are away from wifi range!

Number 1 : Catamaran Sail

Meeting at the docks in Palma Marina.

Av. de Gabriel Roca, 16, 07014 Palma, Illes Balears, España

Roughly a 20 minute walk depending on where you are in Palma

Recommendation: There will be areas to park around this activity, however the duration is several hours. Ideally you would not pay for parking that long, and preferably Uber or Taxi there and back. More details to come for planning when invites are sent out!

To get you started on hotels…

We did some searching around the west side of the island (where our wedding events are located). To get your search started, take a look at these gems. But of course the decision is up to you and your travel desires! You’ll find that these are in Palma and Valldemossa - where our wedding day shuttles are picking up guests.
